I use body therapy, nutrition and herbal medicine to get you the support, answers and results you need, and have made it my life’s purpose to support the wellbeing and health of all those who seek my expertise.
As a practitioner I have had my own clinics in California and Barcelona, as well as practising in London with the Zita West Fertility Clinic, Hannah Pearn Acupuncture, and Conceive clinic in East Dulwich. I collaborate with the International Fertility Company, facilitating the fertility treatment of couples and individuals travelling from the UK to IVF clinics in Barcelona.
Meet Anga González
I was born in the Canary Islands, Spain, and grew up around my mother - a nurse -and my grandmother - who used to treat childhood diseases using local herbal medicine. In the Canary Islands the traditions of food and herbal therapy are still very much present.
Influenced by traditional and modern medicine, I obtained a B.S. in Nutrition from University of California (UC), Berkeley. From there I was keen to explore the relationship between herbal medicine and food more deeply; so I decided to study Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine at the Pacific College Of Oriental Medicine in San Diego, California, in order to become a holistic health practitioner - focusing on Asian body therapy techniques. While in the programme I collaborated with midwives as a doula for the University of California San Diego (UCSD) Hillcrest Hospital, with doctors in San Diego Hospice and the Children’s Hospital, as well as in various fertility centres.
Since then, I have deepened my specialisms in the field of reproductive medicine, obtaining:
A Masters in Chinese Medicine in Women’s Health at Shandong University, China.
A Doctorate of Medicine from The Institute for Functional Medicine
An Advanced Diploma Chinese Medicine for Fertility and Pregnancy with Naava Carman, London
Training with master practitioners of Traditional Chinese and Functional Medicine, including: the founder of the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine and Paediatric Acupuncture Alex Tiberi, and Matt Collision, acupuncturist to the Minnesota Vikings football franchise.
