I am here to support people of all genders who are looking to conceive: before, during and after their pregnancies. I have extensive experience helping LGBT+ families, and I am overjoyed to be part of their success.

There are many reasons why people may seek fertility therapy, and I am here to help you find the right course to take. This may include lifestyle and dietary changes, elimination of environmental toxins, acupuncture, and/or supplements or herbal medicine to enhance your fertility.

My goal is to help parents conceive, have a safe pregnancy, carry children to term, and to have healthy, happy babies after delivery.

I was born and raised in the Canary Islands, Spain. Since my early childhood I have always seen my mom surrounded by stethoscopes and syringes, her tools as a physician. I know that being around her and her passion had an influence on me.

My father’s side of the family had a different approach to health and living. My grandmother used to treat my childhood afflictions with herbal medicine. In the Canary Islands the traditions of food and herbal therapy are still very present.

My education includes a B.S. in Nutrition from UC Berkeley, but I wanted to explore the relationship between herbal medicine and food a bit deeper. So I decided to go to Chinese Medicine School at the Pacific College Of Oriental Medicine in San Diego, California to become a holistic health practitioner focusing on Asian body therapy techniques. While in the program I collaborated with midwives as a doula for the UCSD Hillcrest Hospital, with doctors in San Diego Hospice and the Children’s Hospital, as well as in various fertility centers.

I have trained with very skilled Traditional Chinese and Functional Medicine practitioners, including:

Alex Tiberi, a founder of the Paci$c College of Oriental Medicine and Pediatric Acupuncture Specialist

Matt Callison, acupuncturist to the Minnesota Vikings Football franchise

My experience in providing body work is long and versatile, from inducing labor to providing Tui Na massage to children and infants. Today, my desire is to use the combination of Chinese and Functional Medicines, uterus and cranio-sacral techniques, 5 elements nutrition and supplementation, herbal prescriptions and lifestyle coaching to enhance fertility outcomes for patients internationally. Some of my patient care experience includes:

  • Practicing as a licensed acupuncturist to the English/Spanish speaking communities providing acupuncture, herbal medicine, moxibustion, dietary consultations, muscle/bone testing, stretching and massage therapy, meditation, and Qi gong techniques at Pacific Center of Health, as well as to laboring women, and women going through IVF procedure at the Fertility Centers of San Diego, and midwives at Best Start Birth Center, San Diego, CA.
  • Providing emotional support and Spanish translations, acupuncture treatments, and relief through bodywork at San Diego Hospice.
  • Performing physical tests and electro acupuncture to athletes, Rimac Center, UCSD, CA.
  • Performing doula duties and in-vitro fertilization acupuncture support for expecting and hopeful mothers in home-based settings, hospitals, clinics, and in Best Start Birth Center, San Diego, CA.

When I’m not at the clinic you may find me practicing yoga, hiking, biking, swimming in the ocean, kayaking, gardening or traveling internationally.
