A mis 40 años empecé con un tratamiento para poder quedarme embarazada a través de una clínica de referencia, mi sorpresa fue que la Doctora que llevaba mi caso tras varias pruebas me comunicó que tenía baja calidad ovárica, a nivel de cantidad para la edad que tenía bien pero la calidad era baja. Debido a mi edad la Doctora me propuso directamente tratamiento invitro descartando inseminación. Me hicieron un primer tratamiento donde después de recibir un tratamiento hormonal para estimular mis ovarios solo quedó un superviviente y éste no superó la biopsia y finalmente me quedé sin óvulo para implantar.

Estuve mirando en internet como mejorar mi calidad ovárica y vi que la acupuntura me podría ayudar, así que una amiga que había acudido a Anga para sus embarazos me pasó su contacto. Comenté a mi Doctora que iba a ponerme en manos de la acupuntura y me dijo que adelante que era compatible con su tratamiento, así que me puse en manos de Anga y tengo que decir que me ayudó mucho y en el segundo intento conseguimos dos óvulos aptos para implantar, así que conseguimos ser Padres de nuestra preciosa Júlia y el otro óvulo está a la espera.

After 2 early miscarriages, followed by a struggle to conceive due to changes in my monthly cycle that these bought about, I came to Anga after researching the effectiveness of acupuncture on fertility and stress. In my first appointment, Anga made me feel extremely comfortable in talking about my experiences so far and suggesting a course of suitable treatment. Within a full monthly cycle of treatment my cycle returned to relative normality and I also started to feel a lot less stressed and anxious. After a third miscarriage, I fell pregnant again and am currently 20 weeks! I firmly believe that Anga’s treatment is one of the main reasons my body was able to recover post miscarriage. I went to see Anga after trying to conceive for nearly three years, it was the last thing I had the energy to try. I had been feeling so overwhelmed by all the things I should do, eat, take, and understanding my cycle and body that it was such a relief to have my first session with Anga. I've been seeing Anga for fertility acupuncture and massage for about six months now after switching from another acupuncturist. Anga is incredibly knowledgeable and always tailors her treatments, including recommending herbs if relevant. The acupuncture sessions are incredibly relaxing and you barely feel the needles at all. Finally, Anga is always supportive and understanding, helping to navigate the fertility rollercoaster, interpret test results and recommend next steps. My partner also had a couple sessions, as she treats men as well. Everyone should be lucky enough to see her!
